Post covid Brexit: about time to face the changes with an online job!

We are now less than a month away from the end of the transition period which expires on December 31. After this date, the UK will enter into a new trading regime that is yet to be defined. On October 14, the European Council convened once again to review the state of negotiations on the future EU-UK partnership and to discuss preparatory work for all potential scenarios.

While there is no shortage of concerns over the possibility of having to face tariffs and restrictions on the free flow of goods, services, and people across the UK border.

Given the current uncertainty, decision-makers are cautious about making future investment and production decisions, but the threat of trade barriers is not deemed concrete and severe enough for these companies to revise down their sales forecasts.

So this means that you might find yourself at the end of company difficulties. Getting a bit of an economic blockade to your personal life. Without forgetting that the epidemic is on the rise again throwing another lockdown onto us.

So what can you do about this? Work will go on but it seems likely that stagnation will settle for a little while and you might find yourself with some free time. Online work, there’s your answer.
As many have found some side jobs to supplement these bad times, some have switched to the lucrative and very different lifestyle of a full-time online job.
Let’s put out some examples of what is out there :

Micro-jobs

A micro job is usually a small online task for which you receive an equally small fee, usually a few cents or dollars. They are sometimes called short tasks.

These jobs are done by logging on to a company’s website and selecting tasks, sometimes simply by clicking a link. Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, Clickworker, and sense offer these types of tasks.

Online Gambling

Making money online comes down to game selection and having clear expectations of what you’re doing. The opportunities are huge, and there are millions and millions to be made if you look in the right spots. Lucky for you, Most UK casinos offer promotions such as free spins no deposit to try and get you to sign up with them rather than their competitors. You can’t withdraw the free bet, but you can keep any winnings from it. If you are clever you can hedge your bets and whatever the outcome withdraws most of the free bet.

Website or Application Testing

If you have opinions on what works and what doesn’t on the web, you might be suited for a job in remote usability testing. User testers can also pick up additional work reviewing websites or mobile applications that may still be in development. You don’t have to be very knowledgeable about the internet because some developers want a beginner’s viewpoint.

Usability testers are asked to perform tests based on their demographic profiles, such as education, web knowledge, age, and social media use. They are then given questions to address or tasks to perform, such as registering on a website and then providing feedback online. A review usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes and earns typically about $10.

Proofreader

If you have an eye for spotting spelling errors or typos, you may be well-suited as a proofreader. However, this job may require taking a proofreading course or some prior experience, or you may have to take a test before getting hired.

So much more is out there, online jobs are unlimited and not affected by Brexit or any other political eruptions. Not 100% safe for sure. But nearly there.
