Built around structured themes – Lift, Lead, Level Up – the inaugural Belfast conference will explore the moments that shape careers, inspire leadership and open doors for future generations. A key ambition is to help strengthen the pipeline of future talent.
Siobhan Moran, Chair of Women in Banking & Finance, Northern Ireland said: “We’re delighted to be launching WIBF Live for the first time in Northern Ireland and to be bringing women together at every stage of their professional careers – from students considering their first steps into the industry to experienced executives, specialists, entrepreneurs and senior leaders.
“Northern Ireland has an exciting and growing financial and professional services sector, and this conference will create space to share knowledge, build connections and explore how we can widen access, strengthen the talent pipeline and support more women to fulfil their potential. We’re grateful for all the sponsors which have so enthusiastically supported us.”
The conference which will welcome up to 300 delegates from banking, financial services, professional services, law, technology, entrepreneurship and education, runs from 9am to 5pm and will be followed by a networking reception.
Those companies backing the conference include headline sponsor Progressive Building Society and key sponsors Queen’s University Belfast School of Business, Upstream ABL and The Mortgage Shop.
“This conference is an opportunity to celebrate the strength of Northern Ireland’s professional talent, bring different generations together and create meaningful connections that continue well beyond the event itself,” WIBF CEO, Vicky Soden said.
