John Ardill new GM for Wilsons Auctions

John Ardill has been appointed Northern Ireland General Manager for Wilsons Auctions.

Appointed Northern Ireland General Manager, John is responsible for both the Belfast Head Office and Portadown branches and will utilise his 19 years of experience at Wilsons Auctions, with a focus to maximise efficiencies across both branches and drive sales for the company. 

John started with the company in 2001, starting in the car department he progressed to auctioneer in 2006 before taking on the position of Car Auction manager in 2010. John was promoted to General Manager of Belfast Head Office in 2015, managing all departments and 100 members of staff.

Laura Streight has been appointed Government Contracts Manager

Laura has been appointed Government Contracts Manager, where she will be responsible for managing all Government Contracts. Laura is responsible for the operational delivery of all government and large sector clients and internal compliance in addition to managing all Online sales for the Wilsons Auctions Group. 

Laura joined the company in 2007 as a Receptionist for the Portadown branch, moving to the Belfast Head Office in 2017 she was appointed Online Auction Executive before being promoted to Operations Supervisor in September 2018.

Amber has been promoted by Wilsons Auctions to Auction Support Supervisor at its Belfast Head Office. Amber will be looking after a team of six Auction Support to ensure the staff provide the best customer service. 

Amber joined the company in 2016 as Auction Support where she gained a full understanding of the role including administration duties, supporting all departments, face to face customer service and team building. She understands that attention to detail is very important and organisation is key.
