Bangor based FN Research, an award-winning market research company, is celebrating growth following the pandemic.
Led by its Managing Director, Fiona Norman, FN Research specialises in delivering bespoke research projects for organisations in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and beyond.

“We’ve noticed a real spike in the number of business leaders getting in touch with us to design and undertake a bespoke research project that will see real benefits for their business. In fact, in Q1 of 2022 we had four times the levels of projects commissioned than similar periods pre-pandemic.
“One real change for us is the shift towards online and telephone research. We are now seeing the same amount of online and telephone surveys commissioned in a week that we used to experience over a period of a month previously.”
The types of research that FN Research conducts is hugely varied including focus groups, in depth interviews and surveys, with subjects ranging from food intolerances or sustainability to digital transformation, reading habits, advertising tracking and advertising testing.
Recent clients have included organisations like Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, The Consumer Council and Libraries NI.
Fiona continued: “The research sector is absolutely booming right now and in our eleven years of business we’re working with more project proposals than ever. In fact, we’re working with so many new clients that we are currently expanding our consultancy team.”
