Armagh Observatory and Planetarium has appointed Dr Rok Nežič as Tours and Outreach Officer
Rok is responsible for educating and entertaining visitors through inclusive school visits, history tours, podcasts and social media content creation.
Rok holds a PhD for which his thesis, a joint project between Armagh Observatory and Planetarium and University College London, focused on Polarimetry of Cometary Dust. He also holds a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Astrophysics from University College London.
Rok was appointed as a permanent Tours and Outreach Officer by Armagh Observatory and Planetarium in 2024. As part of his current role, he has trained as a Science in Schools presenter for the Royal Institution.
