Northern Irish keynote speaker, broadcaster, and event compere David Meade has signed an international book deal.
His most recent gig was as host and interviewer of Oprah Winfrey during a live one to one conversation at an ‘Up close with’ Pendulum Summit event in Dublin.
David Meade has combined his expertise in psychology and human behaviour with experience as a broadcaster and presenter, to become one of the world’s leading keynote business and high performance speakers.
Meade’s new book, working title The Science of High Performance is due to be published by Wiley in late 2027.
Meade has developed a unique and science-informed approach to nurturing ‘high performance teams’. He has applied more than 20 years of observing and teaching people to understand better what makes human beings tick: what motivates them, what turns them off, and the small changes that make a big difference to performance.
A charismatic and engaging speaker, Meade takes a refreshing ‘no-fluff, no B-S’ approach to leadership. He has an ability to force audiences to think critically about the challenges surrounding them, while delivering valuable lessons in leadership, organisational culture, and performance.
David Meade works across the US, Europe and EMEA with iconic brands, big corporation CEOs and leadership teams.

Author David Meade said, “For years, audiences at my high performance events have asked if I have a book they can take away and revisit, so I’m finally making the time to write it and I’m very grateful to Wiley for the opportunity to publish my first book.
“My training in psychology initially led me to performing as a ‘mentalist’ or ‘mind-reader’ – using patterns of human behaviour to ‘predict’ how people would think and act.
“I began to apply this science to leadership development and executive performance, studying the behaviour or mindset that makes successful people stand out, what makes them more productive, more effective or simply perform better. When you examine this closely and you know what to look for, there are patterns there too.
“This learning has turned out to be hugely effective in changing the CEOs and teams I share it with, so much so that I have spent the last three or four years delivering the lessons I’ve developed to audiences all over the world.
“High performance is in all of us if we can harness these little changes to move the needle. The book will provide a combination of the science and the practical tools we can all use to unlock greater impact.
David Meade’s book is due to be published by Wiley in late 2027.
