UK Bike Week takes place this week and thousands of employees across the Linen Quarter can mark the occasion with a free 100-minute ride on the Belfast Bikes.
Provided by LQ BID, which is also celebrating its annual Health Week this week, the complimentary vouchers will encourage more people to swap four wheels for two, and experience a safer, greener and more enjoyable way to travel around the city.
With Belfast also a designated European City of Sport in 2026, in recognition of how it uses physical activity to enhance the lives of its citizens, this year’s LQ BID Health Week programme places a greater emphasis on activities that foster inclusion and social connection. So why not grab a friend or a colleague and bring them along for the ride too?

Sustainable District Manager at LQ BID, Lawrence Geoffrey Tingson, said, “Health Week is a powerful reminder of the importance of looking after ourselves. Each year we create more moments for people to take control of their health, connect with new people, recharge their mind and body, and even experience something new. When employers prioritise health and happiness, our business community thrives.”
Health Week events and offerings are exclusively available to the thousands of employees across LQ BID’s 300 member organisations.
