Power couple and new M&S Food ambassadors Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy were shaking the night away on Monday as they practiced their cocktail-making skills ahead of the busy Christmas party season. But over half a million fans on Instagram have been quick to spot that these weren’t just any festive drinks… In fact there was something about those bottles that really made Abbey’s eyes light up with excitement!… 😉
“Today I need you to be my Tom Cruise…”, says Abbey to Crouchy as she hands him one of M&S’s iconic festive liqueurs in a gorgeous light-up bottle. “I’ve been called it before”, replies Crouchy with a cheeky grin!
Fans were delighted to see that each Christmassy cocktail needed just two or three ingredients, all available at M&S. First up was a Very Berry Spritz, made simply using M&S’s light-up Very Berry Vodka Liqueur topped up with a bit of prosecco. “It’s lovely, it’s very berry-ish!”, declares Abbey.
Next came an equally easy Marmalade G&T, made with a measure of M&S light-up Marmalade Gin Liqueur topped up with tonic and finished with a squeeze of fresh lime. “Pete finds me far too bossy”, jokes Abbey as she cuts the limes for him, “but everything he does irritates me!”
The trio of cocktails is finished with a wonderfully wintry Stollen Old Fashioned, made with M&S light-up Stollen Rum Liqueur, a measure of brandy and a dash of clementine juice. “Phwoar!” exclaims Crouchy as he tastes it, “That’ll warm you up on a Christmas night, wouldn’t it!”. “You’d be snoring in two minutes!” replies Abbey with a wink! 😉
Comments from delighted fans on Instagram included “The very berry vodka one sounds lush! 😍”, “Off to buy them all tomorrow 😍” and “We’ve got our friends over for Christmas dinner so might just have to get some of these! 😍”
The fabulously festive liqueurs in stunning light-up bottles are available in your nearest M&S Foodhall for just £10 each, or you can order all three on the M&S website to be conveniently delivered straight to your door.
