Construction and fit-out company, Gilbert-Ash, is proud to have achieved its Silver Diversity Mark reaccreditation.
The Diversity Mark scheme was introduced to help organisations in the UK and Ireland build more diverse and inclusive workplaces, where every individual feels not just included, but truly welcome.
Today, almost 200 organisations across the UK and Ireland – representing over 200,000 employees – are working towards, or proudly maintaining, their Diversity Mark accreditation.
Each accreditation is independently assessed by a panel of experts, making it impartial, credible and impactful.
Gilbert-Ash recognises the vital importance of workplace diversity and inclusion and is committed to fostering a welcoming environment for all its employees.

As a patron of WOMEN’STEC and champion of their #NotJustForBoys initiative, the construction company is also strongly supportive of gender equality across the industry.
The reaccreditation comes as Gilbert-Ash was recently included on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work listing.
Gilbert-Ash Managing Director, Ray Hutchinson, said: “We are delighted that Diversity Mark has acknowledged our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where our employees of all backgrounds feel valued, safe and respected.
“We are proud of the progress we have made in terms of advancing diversity and inclusion and look forward to building on this positive momentum. But we acknowledge there is more work to be done and we are committed to staying the course.”
Christine White, Director of Diversity Mark, said: “This Silver Diversity Mark is a significant achievement and a real reflection of the commitment, leadership and hard work across the organisation.
“Throughout their Diversity Mark journey, Gilbert-Ash has demonstrated a genuine commitment to creating an inclusive workplace and to continually reviewing and strengthening its approach to inclusion.
“It has been particularly encouraging to see the strong support from the leadership team and the ambition to embed inclusion as part of their wider ESG priorities.
“That leadership commitment is so important in creating the culture and conditions for meaningful, long-term progress.
“We are delighted to recognise this achievement and to continue supporting Gilbert-Ash as they build on the progress they have already made and take the next steps in their Diversity Mark journey.”
