Since opening in early 2023, Pizza Crew Ormeau Road, has been lending its support to the local community.
James Woods, Pizza Crew, said: “All of our stores take their position in the community really seriously. We appreciate that locals get behind us by ordering from us every week and we like to return that loyalty. The crew at the Ormeau Road store is proud to be sponsoring two local teams, the Carryduff Colts and Carryduff GAC All Stars.”
Pizza Crew provides almost 100 kits between both teams, but that’s not the point, explained James.
“Yes, we’re delighted the kids have shiny new kits as they feel like proper players when they put them on. But we don’t just want to be a sponsor. We want to be involved and give the kids incentives to do better and achieve personal goals.
“The Carryduff Colts are given pizza vouchers when they do well and the Carryduff GAC All Stars, who are all differently abled, will be treated to a free pizza making class at the Lisburn store as a reward.
“Plus, we’re always looking for opportunities to throw the kids a pizza party when they reach a milestone or do well in their games. We are proud to be part of the community and we will continue to show up when it counts.”, said James.
