The Northern Ireland Food To Go Association (NIFTGA) has announced a developing new media partnership with U105, aimed at championing Northern Ireland’s food-to-go sector and helping local small businesses gain a stronger voice, greater visibility and opportunities to grow.
U105 is becoming a key media partner for the Northern Ireland Food To Go Association, beginning with an exciting collaboration at Craic & Craft during this year’s Fleadh.
The collaboration marks the beginning of a developing relationship between U105 and NIFTGA, with both organisations exploring opportunities to work together to champion Northern Ireland’s food-to-go sector, support local small businesses to have a stronger voice and create opportunities for Association members to raise their profile and grow.
As part of this first collaboration, U105 will have a major presence at Craic & Craft, helping to bring the atmosphere of the event to an even wider audience and shine a spotlight on the businesses, people and producers that make Northern Ireland’s food-to-go industry so special.
The relationship forms part of NIFTGA’s continued drive to build a strong network of partners that can deliver meaningful opportunities and support for its growing membership while strengthening the collective voice of the independent businesses operating across the sector.
Michael Henderson, Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Food To Go Association, said: “We are delighted to be working more closely with U105. From the outset, our conversations have been about how we can work together to give our members greater visibility, connect with new audiences and, importantly, help local small businesses have a stronger voice and the opportunity to grow.
“Craic & Craft is a brilliant place to begin that relationship. We see this as the start of an exciting collaboration with U105 and look forward to exploring the many ways we can work together to support and promote our members, champion the independent businesses at the heart of communities across Northern Ireland and strengthen the voice of the wider food-to-go sector.”
The Northern Ireland Food To Go Association represents more than 1,000 businesses across Northern Ireland, including independent cafés, coffee shops, sandwich bars, takeaways, convenience retailers, food producers and businesses throughout the wider food-to-go supply chain.
Geraldine Adair, Head of Commercial said: “We are delighted to build on our relationship with the Northern Ireland Food To Go Association and develop a partnership that supports and champions this important sector. Northern Ireland’s food-to-go businesses are at the heart of communities across the region, and we look forward to working with NIFTGA to give its members a stronger platform, celebrate their contribution and connect them with U105’s audiences.”
Through its growing membership and partner network, the Association works to represent the interests of the sector, raise the issues affecting local operators and ensure the businesses and people behind Northern Ireland’s food-to-go industry have a strong voice.
Further details on U105’s involvement at Craic & Craft and the programme of activity surrounding this year’s event will be announced shortly.
