South Belfast Hotel to Host WorldHost Customer Service Training This Summer

A one day customer service training workshop aimed at helping organisations maintain high standards in service is set to take place on Wednesday 30 July 2025 at the Harrison Chambers of Distinction in South Belfast.

The training, part of the internationally recognised WorldHost programme, will be delivered by Christine Watson, a Chartered Marketer and licensed WorldHost Customer Service Trainer since 2010.

The upcoming workshop has been designed as an open access opportunity to meet the needs of employers who find it difficult to release multiple staff at the same time from their daily rota. Instead, they are being provided with the opportunity to send individual staff members to complete the programme and gain the industry recognised and globally acclaimed customer service training certification without significantly disrupting daily operations.

Speaking ahead of the South Belfast learning opportunity, Licensed WorldHost Customer Service Trainer Christine Watson, who has successfully trained over 1,000 individuals in the international WorldHost principles of customer service programme said:

“We know that many businesses are under pressure when it comes to staffing. This open course format means people can access training without putting extra strain on their team. It is about making it as easy as possible for employers and employees to invest in skills that help ensure quality of service. The Summer timing also allows many different types of people, from all walks of life and age groups to take part, develop important skills and achieve the highly regarded WorldHost customer service certification.”

The WorldHost Principles of Customer Service training programme was first developed to prepare frontline staff for the Vancouver Winter Olympics and has since become a recognised standard for customer service across many different industries.

The energetic and interactive full day workshop will be delivered in the private training room at the Harrison Chambers of Distinction, a boutique hotel known for its creative interiors and focus on local heritage. The Malone road venue offers a relaxed yet professional space for learning and is ideally located to serve participants from right across Belfast and wider Northern Ireland.

Trainees will leave with a recognised WorldHost certificate and badge, alongside customer service and communication skills which can help boost confidence, improve service delivery and strengthen employability.

Places are limited and early booking is advised. Registration is open to individuals, sole traders and businesses across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
