Digital marketing company, Rapid Agency, is celebrating five years in business with the announcement of a growth of 300 per cent in sales in 2020 (compared to the same period in 2019), trebling in team size, and the hiring of two new staff.
Belfast-based, but with international reach, the agency, which specialises in website design, social media management and advertising, digital marketing training and search engine optimisation (SEO), has seen new and existing clients turn to Rapid for a growing range of services. The agency has supported over 100 businesses in the past 12 months alone.
Rapid are attracting between 10 and 15 new clients each and every month, seeking help with everything from E-commerce web development to social media support.
The fast-growth business, with eight staff, has won clients across diverse sectors, including hospitality, manufacturing, retail, building and engineering, professional services, facilities management and charity. They are also Northern Ireland’s most highly reviewed digital agency on Google Reviews.
Rapid Agency was founded by Ballymena businessman James Scullion, when he was just 25 years old. Commenting about the news, he said: “The last twelve months have seen exceptional growth for us, which is just fantastic.
“We have had a steady stream of both new business enquiries as well as an expansion of requirements from our current client base.
“This pandemic has forced organisations to look at their current digital platforms and online presence and it has accelerated their plans, in some cases, overnight.
“It has also accelerated the growth of the Northern Ireland technology industry by around ten years.
“It is an exciting time to be a part of this industry and it’s even more exciting to see our clients seeing real results, bolstering their growth.
“The talent pool of people in Northern Ireland is second-to-none and by attracting some of the very best on offer, it has allowed Rapid to do work on both a local and global scale.
“Our team helps businesses to get online in a short time-frame and to maximise all of the tools available to them to help them to grow in new emerging markets.
“We started back in 2016 with one client and one staff member. Over time we attracted others across a range of industries and a brilliant team of people who have helped Rapid grow to the agency that it is today.”
James concluded: “We’re very excited, and very grateful, to have seen such growth especially over the past 12 months and are looking forward to seeing what our future holds as we emerge from the pandemic and help our clients reach new heights.”
