A rescued Pug named Rubble is set to receive much-needed surgery to help him breathe more easily thanks to a £1000 donation from Power NI to Omagh’s Grovehill Animal Trust.

The funding – awarded through Power NI’s Brighter Communities programme – will help cover the cost of Rubble’s treatment, while also supporting the charity’s wider work that involves rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in need.

Every penny we receive goes directly towards the care of the animals who come through our shelter – food, veterinary treatment and rehabilitation – so this funding will make a real, practical difference.

“It is wonderful to see an organisation like Power NI giving back to the community, and support like this means the world to a charity like ours,” he added.

Grovehill Animal Trust provides a safe space for animals that have been abandoned, neglected or surrendered, working tirelessly to improve animal welfare and support responsible pet ownership throughout the community. The donation will help the charity continue delivering high-quality care while responding to the demand for its services.
