Omagh Enterprise will continue to build momentum following its transformative Digi-Hub initiative, positioning the town centre as a growing destination for enterprise, innovation and digital connectivity. With a long-term vision to create a network of enterprise hubs supporting hundreds of businesses and thousands of jobs by 2035, the organisation is focused on ensuring Omagh remains a vibrant and sustainable place to live, work and invest.
A major highlight of 2025 was the official launch of the new Digi-Hub in Omagh Town Centre by the First Minister and Deputy First Minister. Representing a £6 million investment, the state-of-the-art workspace is expected to accommodate 50 businesses and support the creation of 250 jobs, helping to reshape the future of enterprise within the town centre.

Located on the Old Mountfield Road, the Digi-Hub has been developed through the extensive refurbishment of the previously derelict Omagh Health Centre. The facility offers ultrafast broadband, flexible private offices, co-working space and a collaborative environment designed for entrepreneurs, remote workers and creatives. The development gives local people the opportunity to work globally while remaining rooted within their local community.
The Digi-Hub forms part of a wider long-term regeneration strategy aligned with the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Place Shaping Plan 2035. This vision is particularly significant given that, in 2028, five of Omagh’s largest schools will relocate to the new Strule Shared Education Campus, leaving several major town centre buildings vacant.
Rather than allowing these spaces to fall into decline, the ambition is to transform them into a connected network of Digi-Hubs that will breathe new life into the town centre, attract investment and support the businesses and industries of the future.
Looking ahead to 2026, Omagh Enterprise will continue developing its centres as a key resource for promoting entrepreneurship and supporting start-up, growth and social economy businesses across the region.
