Nitec Solutions are delighted to announce the release of a new hybrid-work module for their personnel management application for Microsoft 365, “Nitec HR”.
The new check-in procedure allows staff to designate their place of work across multiple sites, and from home, on a daily AM/PM basis via the intuitive click-and-save interface.
Staff members who are, more or less, permanently working in the same location can rely on their default setting until such times as it requires further amendment.
The associated reports produced by the application make it easy for line managers to determine which staff are working from where, how often they are there, and even serves as a valuable role-call tool in the event of an emergency evacuation.
Commenting on the free software update, Nitec’s Operations Director, Michael Hutchinson said “when the pandemic hit, we needed something developed quickly to monitor office attendance levels in terms of COVID health and safety, and so we turned to Microsoft’s “Power Automate” platform to control the number of staff in our offices at any one time”.
It has always been Nitec’s intention to integrate this kind of feature into Nitec HR as part of their prevailing commitment to research and development, and the coded version brings much improved functionality to every registered user on the system, courtesy of its integration with Microsoft 365.
Aside from the ability to designate your place of work weeks in advance, the new update also has a customizable notification section that helpfully reminds staff members of any workplace policies that are currently in force that they should adhere to.
Nitec HR, which additionally manages leave and absence, return to work, as well as personnel documentation all inside one modernized, labour-saving application, is available at a special discounted rate of £1 pound per user, or a minimum of £30 per month.
