John Clark and Andrew Shanon appointed managers at Sumer Northern Ireland

John Clark has been appointed as a Manager in Sumer Northern Ireland’s Innovation Tax Relief team

A Scientist graduating from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2019, John has a background in microbiology, molecular biology and public health with industry experience in the agri-food sector.

In his current role, John utilises his technical expertise to identify and articulate qualifying research and development activities to assist clients with R&D and Patent Box claims across a wide range of industries.

Andrew Shannon

Andrew Shannon has been appointed a Manager in the Innovation Tax Relief team at Sumer NI. A graduate of the University of Manchester, Andrew is a Chemical Engineer with practical experience in renewable technology development across the hydrogen, e-fuels and biogas sectors, as well as the non-destructive testing sector.

In his role at Sumer NI, Andrew applies his industry knowledge to help innovative businesses identify and evidence eligible R&D and Patent Box claims with clarity and accuracy.
