Jet2holidays has hosted its second annual Non-Retail Summit, with almost 150 delegates hearing how the company is continuing to support and invest in non-retail travel agent partners as part of its award-winning Partners2Success strategy.
The event follows the success of Jet2holidays’ inaugural Non-Retail Summit last year, with even more top performing homeworkers and non-retail partners attending this second dedicated event.
The event took place at Jet2’s Holiday House office in Leeds on September 9th, offering attendees a packed agenda of presentations, expert-led discussions, Q&As, networking opportunities and learning sessions designed to help partners grow their businesses and deliver even more success.
Delegates heard directly from senior leaders including CEO Steve Heapy (via video), Alan Cross, Director of Travel Agent Relationships, Jade Evers, General Manager of Travel Agent Relationships and Kat Davies, National Sales and Partnership Manager. They all gave business updates, shared trading insights and discussed how Jet2holidays continues to work closely with non-retail partners to create opportunities for mutual growth.
Throughout the day, delegates also heard from senior Jet2 colleagues including Ajay Kumar, Senior Social Media Manager at Jet2, who talked about how to create social media content to boost sales, Eamonn McGarry, Head of IT Project Office & Service Management at Jet2.com, .
The summit will also feature partner showcases from 3HB hotel providers.
Delegates gathered at The Queens Hotel in Leeds for a special awards dinner and evening celebration, with award winners detailed below. The event also included a charity auction, which raised £11,450, with all proceeds supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and the NSPCC.
Alan Cross, Director of Travel Agent Relationships at Jet2, said: “We were delighted to welcome almost 150 delegates to our second annual Non-Retail Summit, with everyone enjoying a hugely productive day which gave us a lot to be excited about. This is an industry-leading event in that it is completely unique, and it is proving to be invaluable in terms of driving growth and developing our relationships with non-retail partners even further. Our non-retail travel agent and homeworker partners play a hugely important role in our continued success, and events such as this demonstrate how committed we are to supporting them.”
