Emerald Urgent Care to host Belfast investor event

Emerald Urgent Care is to host an investor briefing in Belfast next week as the independent healthcare provider opens its latest seed fundraising round to support its growth and expansion plans.

The company will welcome guests to the Grand Central Hotel on Wednesday 9th September, where its founders will outline Emerald Urgent Care’s business model, growth strategy and plans to build a scalable network of independent urgent care services.

Emerald Urgent Care

Emerald Urgent Care has developed an NHS-aligned model focused on providing timely access to urgent healthcare outside already stretched hospital emergency departments.

The new funding round will support the company as it moves into its next phase of development, with investment opportunities available from £10,000. Eligible investments can benefit from the UK Government’s Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) and Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).

Stuart Thornhill, Co-Founder of Emerald Urgent Care said, “Demand for accessible, high-quality urgent healthcare continues to grow, while pressure on traditional services remains significant. We believe there is a substantial opportunity to develop a sustainable independent urgent care model that complements existing NHS services.

“This investment round represents an important stage in Emerald Urgent Care’s growth. The Belfast event will give potential investors the opportunity to hear directly from our founders, understand the scale of the opportunity and learn more about our plans for expansion.”

The investor evening will include a presentation from the founders, an overview of the current fundraising round and a live question-and-answer session, followed by networking.

The event takes place at the Grand Central Hotel, Bedford Street, Belfast, from 6pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. Places are limited and registration is essential.

Prospective attendees are asked to register via Investor Opportunity Briefing Tickets, Wednesday 9 September  •  6 PM – 8:30 PM | Eventbrite
