Emerald Urgent Care has been named Best New Business of the Year at the Belfast Chamber Business Awards 2026, recognising the healthcare provider’s growth and commitment to improving access to healthcare across Northern Ireland.
The award marks another significant milestone for Emerald Urgent Care, which opened its first clinic on Great Victoria Street in Belfast in July 2025, offering patients a convenient alternative for urgent, non-life-threatening medical conditions.
Since opening, Emerald has experienced strong growth in patient demand, expanded its range of healthcare services and established additional clinics in Enniskillen and Derry/Londonderry.
Alongside its core urgent care service, Emerald has developed its offering to include wellness and health assessments, specialist healthcare services and a growing corporate healthcare proposition designed to help local employers support the health and wellbeing of their teams.

Now in its eleventh year, the Belfast Chamber Business Awards brought together more than 600 guests to celebrate achievements across 18 categories, recognising excellence in business leadership, innovation, customer service, workplace culture and community impact.

The Belfast Chamber success follows further industry recognition for Emerald Urgent Care, which was shortlisted earlier this year in both the Excellence in Patient Care and Medical Clinic of the Year categories at the All-Island Private Healthcare Excellence Awards.
Emerald has also been shortlisted for Fast Growth Business of the Year at the upcoming Business Eye Awards, adding to a growing list of accolades for the expanding healthcare business.
