Deliveroo has revealed its annual ‘Deliveroo 100 Report’, showcasing trending orders from around the world in 2025.
A Belfast bakery is a cut above the rest, as the Dougies Goodies Iced Layer Cake features on the UK trending list.
In addition to revealing the most trending dishes, Deliveroo also reports on what Irish Oasis fans ordered following the band’s sold-out Croke Park gigs in August, and the dishes favoured by GAA fans after the All-Ireland final in July.
Deliveroo has unveiled its much-anticipated annual ‘Deliveroo 100 Report’, the ultimate guide to what diners in the UK and the rest of the world are craving.
Each year, the report charts the most popular and fastest-rising delivery trends across nine countries, and 2025’s edition shows a Belfast bakery has featured on the UK charts. The Iced Layer Cake from Dougies Goodies came in at number 19 in the list of the 30 top trending dishes across the UK in 2025.
Dougies Goodies, a famous Ballymena bakery that now has a store in Belfast and stocks its products with retailers across the country, has ranked alongside some of the UK’s biggest and best-loved brands on the top trending list. Some of the names Dougies Goodies can count as company on the 2025 list include Wagamama, Dishoom, Wholefoods and Wingstop.
DON’T LOOK BACK IN HANGER
In addition to revealing this year’s Deliveroo 100, Deliveroo also tracked the popularity of orders during two of Ireland’s biggest cultural moments in 2025.
Deliveroo tracked orders made by customers after Oasis left the Croke Park stage on 16th August. One hour after the band’s encore, Deliveroo customers sent orders of spice bags, wraps, burgers and pita wraps soaring. The most popular restaurant orders on Deliveroo between 10.30pm – 11.30pm on 16th August included:

In the aftermath of Kerry’s win over Donegal in the 2025 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship at Croke Park on 27th July, burgers, burrito bowls and an Irish favourite – the classic spice bag – were among the most popular orders on Deliveroo in the hour following the game. The most popular dishes ordered on Deliveroo between 5.30pm – 6.30pm on 27th July included:

Beyond gifts, customers turned to Deliveroo for comfort and relief during extreme weather, with sales peaking for fans in the week of July 7th as the UK sweltered under a heatwave.
Staying cool wasn’t the only priority, though – maintaining that summer glow was also top of mind. The ultimate skincare GOAT this year was facemasks – overall demand saw a significant spike in June, suggesting customers were stocking up for holiday travel, pre-wedding prep, and all important essential summer facial hydration.

The Deliveroo 100 also shows that Ireland is officially the burger capital of the world, with Dublin diners going crazy for the Dash Double Smash from Dash Burger, which features at number five on the global trending list. 13 Irish dishes feature in the global trending list, including the Half & Half burrito from Tula in Dublin, Pitt Bros Bacon and Cheese from Pitt Bros BBQ in Cork and Benny’s Burger Deal! from Benny’s in Galway.
