M&S has announced that its Aldergrove store will officially reopen at 9am on Thursday 8 October, following a major transformation which will see the store increase in size and offer customers more of their M&S Food favourites.
The store is set to expand by 50%, following the extension into the neighbouring service station unit.
The renewed store will offer customers more than 2,000 additional products, alongside a refreshed layout and a number of new features, including a larger in-store bakery, upgraded coffee-to-go facilities and a frozen food range for the first time at Aldergrove.
With more space to shop, customers can enjoy an even greater choice of M&S products, including more Remarksable Value and Bigger Pack Better Value products, delivering trusted value and exceptional quality for families, as well as the latest product launches, from Gingerbread and White Chocolate cookies to brand-new Organic choices.
The store will also feature additional self-checkout tills and continue to offer its Click & Collect service.
The expansion has seen 25 new colleagues join the Aldergrove team, with onboarding and training ongoing ahead of the store’s reopening on 8 October.
To celebrate the reopening, Percy Pig will be on hand to officially cut the ribbon and welcome customers into the transformed store. The first customers through the doors will also receive a complimentary M&S tote bag, while stocks last.
M&S Aldergrove Store Manager, David Brady said: “We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be reopening our doors on Thursday 8 October and can’t wait to welcome customers back into the transformed store. The team has been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready, and we’re excited to share the renewed store with the local community.”
The investment has created a bigger, brighter store with more of the delicious M&S Food our customers love, while continuing to deliver the great quality and trusted value they expect from us every time they shop.”
