Fully Funded Counselling with Relate NI

Relate NI is providing fully funded counselling sessions to support workers across various sectors, and their relationships.

Bank Workers, Chartered Accountants, Seafarers and Civil Service Employees can avail of the fully funded counselling support through a series of contracts held by Relate NI, who have been supporting people to develop healthy relationships across Northern Ireland for over 70 years.

The charity has also received funding from the National Lottery and The Community Fund in Northern Ireland to provide counselling support to anybody who is considered a key worker during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Duane Farrell, CEO said; “Healthy Relationships are the foundation of our Health & Wellbeing. The Coronavirus Pandemic continues to create the perfect storm of stress factors on workers and subsequently, their close relationships. We know that the upcoming festive season can exacerbate relationship tensions for individuals, families, couples and children.”

“We are urging people to plan ahead and consider how they may be able to relieve the pressure on their relationships. A survey of our clients last year showed that 85% wished they had come to Relate NI sooner.”

“Thanks to support from a number of organisations such as the Chartered Accountants Benevolent Association, The Bank Workers Charity, Seafarers UK & The Charity for Civil Servants; we are able to provide our expert relationship counselling services fully funded to workers in these areas, and in some cases their families.”

Relationship counselling is available for individuals, families, children and couples, including Sex Therapy, at locations across Northern Ireland. Relate NI are also offering webcam and telephone services should you prefer.

Healthy relationships are enriching and provide us with satisfaction, but they can also be complicated, challenging and always changing and every relationship will feel under pressure at some point.

Relate NI can help you manage conflict and communicate effectively in order to relieve the pressure on your relationships. Maintaining a fulfilling relationship requires effort and it is perfectly normal to seek relationship support.
