The CUPRA IPT Argento Cup, a premier fixture on the official Padel Federation of Ireland circuit, delivered a landmark tournament of elite padel at Let’s Go Padel.

Driven by the vision of Peter Boyle, owner of Argento and Let’s Go Padel, the event confirmed Derry~Londonderry as a new epicentre for high performance padel on the island of Ireland.

The tournament attracted 130 of finest national and international players, competing for a £10,000 prize fund – the highest ever offered for a padel tournament in Ireland and one of the most significant purses on the global national circuit level.

Staged at the brand new, premium Let’s Go Padel facility – which boasts eight double courts and two single courts – the event showcased the fast-paced, social, and professional nature of one of the world’s fastest growing sports.

CUPRA IPT Argento Cup Open Men’s Final

The men’s final delivered high-stakes drama for the spectators:

Alberto Gasca (World No. 532) & Alejandro Urzola (World No. 362) defeated
Nicolás Aguirre (World No. 442) & Álvaro Salcedo (Spain U18 No. 40)
6–7, 6–2, 6–3

After a narrow first-set tiebreak, Gasca and Urzola elevated their tactical and physical play,, dominating the second set before sealing the title in a fiercely contested decider.

CUPRA IPT Argento Cup Open Women’s Final

In the women’s draw, the strength of the Irish domestic elite was on full display:

Anna Zuka (Ireland No. 3) & Sinead Lohan (Ireland No. 27) defeated
Amy Flynn (Ireland No. 4) & Katie Nolan (Ireland No. 6)
6–0, 6–4

Zuka and Lohan combined disciplined tactics with aggressive net play to secure the title in straight sets, asserting their position as the top domestic pairing.
