Power Dressing, Pre-Loved: Sustainable Style Comes to Groomsport

Sharp suits, tailored jackets and boardroom-ready pieces from leading labels will be on the rails this October as Sustainable Style arrives at The Stables, Groomsport, from 29 to 31 October.

Created by Donaghadee local Heather Hamill-Vaughan, the three-day pop-up brings together sellers offering high-end pre-loved business and smart casual wear for men and women, at a fraction of the original price.

Shoppers can expect workwear favourites from Armani, Hobbs, Jaeger, ME+EM, Charles Tyrwhitt, Calvin Klein, Boden and Karl Lagerfeld, alongside Barbour outerwear and a mix of independent brands.

From structured blazers, shirts and tailored trousers to classic shift dresses, quality leather bags and belts, the event offers a smart way to refresh a work wardrobe without the full designer price tag.

Heather Hamill-Vaughan, creator of Sustainable Style, said: “Good tailoring is built to last, so it makes sense that it should have more than one owner. Choosing pre-loved helps extend the life of clothing, reduce waste and support a more circular approach to fashion.

“Every item will be high-end, with a strong selection of business and smart casual pieces, from suits and jackets to the accessories that finish a look, including bags, belts, scarves and jewellery.

“Whether you’re starting a new job, heading into an important interview or simply want to look your best at work, it’s a chance to invest in quality pieces at accessible prices, and pick up a sharp new suit for the man in your life too.”

Anyone with quality workwear that deserves a second chance can bring it along to sell themselves or speak to the Sustainable Style team about managing the sale on their behalf.
