Craic & Craft has been hailed as a major success after welcoming unprecedented numbers of visitors during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026 in Belfast.
Delivered by, the Northern Ireland Food To Go Association and Sonic Events, Craic & Craft transformed the outdoor space between ICC Belfast and Waterfront Hall into a vibrant celebration of local food, drink, artisan makers, family entertainment and traditional music.
Hundreds of thousands of local people and tourists visited the free-to-enter market throughout the week, creating a lively meeting place in the heart of the city and contributing to the unforgettable atmosphere surrounding the Fleadh.
The strong visitor numbers demonstrated the appetite for authentic local food and hospitality experiences alongside major cultural events. Food traders, artisan producers and family attractions proved extremely popular, while Belfast’s cafés and food-to-go businesses also played an important role in welcoming visitors and showcasing the quality, creativity and warmth for which the city is known.
