Strabane Enterprise Agency plans to establish a new start-up hub, expand business support programmes, and continue investing in modern facilities for local businesses and community organisations as it marks four decades of enterprise support in Strabane.
For more than 40 years, Strabane Enterprise Agency has been supporting businesses, entrepreneurs and the wider community, building a strong reputation for delivering practical enterprise support and creating positive local impact.

The Agency is focused on developing a new start-up hub that will provide additional opportunities and support for aspiring entrepreneurs. Plans are also in place to deliver further workshops and training opportunities for local businesses, while continuing to invest in the conference and training facilities at Strabane Enterprise Agency to ensure businesses and community groups have access to high-quality, modern spaces for collaboration and development.
In 2025, the Agency celebrated several important milestones, including over four decades of supporting enterprise development across the region. A special achievement during the year was the recognition of staff member Nicole Gallagher, who celebrated 20 years with the organisation in April 2025, reflecting the dedication, experience and commitment within the team.
The Agency also successfully delivered 1,257 hours of business support through a range of enterprise programmes across the local area. This included workshops, mentoring opportunities and peer support networks designed to help businesses develop skills, build connections and strengthen their operations.
Alongside its enterprise activity, Strabane Enterprise Agency continued to make a meaningful contribution to the local community through its Christmas Toy Appeal. Over the past two years, the initiative has collected more than 1,200 gifts for the Strabane Family and Childcare Team, helping to support local families in need during the festive season.
