Ballymena-based Travelmax has been named the top travel agency in the UK and Ireland at the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies Awards 2026.
The family-run business received the overall title at the awards ceremony, held recently at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, becoming the first Northern Ireland agency to win the accolade.
Travelmax also received two additional awards on the night including Top Travel Agency in Northern Ireland and the TUI Community Hero Award.

The travel agency is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, having been founded in 2001 by Maxine Bracewell.

Alongside its travel services, Travelmax was also recognised for its community contribution. Over the past year, the company has donated holiday vouchers to local fundraising initiatives, supported schools and sports clubs, and worked with local artists and community groups.
Founded in Ballymena, Travelmax has grown to become one of Northern Ireland’s best-known independent travel businesses.
The latest awards mark a significant achievement for the company and for Northern Ireland’s travel sector.
