M&S Lisburn celebrates one year of Baby Club

M&S Lisburn hosted a special event to celebrate the first anniversary of its baby club, The Parent Hood.

Now home to over 250,000 members nationally, the club offers families 10% off baby grows for up to two years, as well as up to £250 in discounts on baby items for the first year of membership.

Each Tuesday, M&S Cafés across Northern Ireland have hosted weekly Parent & Baby coffee mornings, to bring together new families in the community.

To celebrate its one-year milestone, over 50 Parent Hood members and local content creators gathered at the M&S Lisburn café for a special event. The highlight was The Parent Hood Panel, hosted by local creator Fiona McCartan (@glutenfreefi), featuring experts in parenting and women’s health. Topics ranged from midwifery and pelvic health to fitness and sleep training, with panellists including Nicole McAuley (@motherhood.bubble), Helen Farmer (@helensleepnanny), Lisa Parry (@lp.physio.pilates), and Christina Maxwell (@empowered_belfast).

Guests also enjoyed free goodie bags, bouquets of sunflowers, M&S food and drinks, and plenty of cake, along with parent and baby activities ranging from pampering to sensory play.

Each week, Parent Hood members can take advantage of a free slice of cake, pastry or fruit pot when buying a hot drink.

The dedicated Parent Hood app also provides exclusive content for members, from videos and articles to tips from M&S styling experts and exclusive partners, as well as nutritionist-approved recipes for parent and baby.

In the past year, M&S has collectively sold over one million baby grows, with the products part of its stylish Kidswear range, with trusted hand-me-down quality and value. Customers can sign up to The Parent Hood via the M&S Sparks app.

Phil Wiltshire, Store Manager at M&S Lisburn, said:  “At M&S Lisburn, we want to be the number one choice for local families, and it has been absolutely brilliant to see our parent and baby coffee mornings take off. It was really special to see the local parenting community come together this week and share how important the meet ups have been to them and the friends they’ve made since last August. So, if you know any parents that haven’t yet signed up to The Parent Hood, make sure to spread the word and we can’t wait to see what the next year brings!”

M&S also recently announced two new The Parent Hood ambassadors, Olly and Amelia Murs, as they prepare to welcome their second child.
