Mediaworks Online Marketing has been invited to Belfast by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) to present its practical and easy-to-follow masterclass in Search Engine Optimisation and Pay per Click Advertising.
Its Business Development Manager Steven Parker argues that digital marketing has been unnecessarily shrouded in mystery, adding they are on a mission to change perceptions.
He said: “The principle of SEO is a very logical and simple process to understand when it has been explained correctly. In my experience it has often been miscommunicated which has led to a lack of understanding.”
Richard Houdmont CIM Director for Ireland said they were delighted that the company would be presenting this masterclass, which is open to non-members, in Northern Ireland for the first time.
“Digital marketing is ever-changing and it is important that companies are up to speed on the latest developments in the industry. People come along and get real knowledge which they can take back and apply to their organisations,” he added.
Mediaworks, which is based in the North East of England, has worked with an impressive list of clients including Viking, Travel Ex and Decathlon to help improve their online presence.
They are in the E-consultancy’s list of top 100 digital agencies and were voted the best digital agency in the North East of England and 15th in the UK in the Drum Magazine Digital Census.
The half day masterclass, which takes place at the University of Ulster’s Belfast Campus on March 6 from 2.45pm, will be hosted by Steven Parker and Mediaworks head of PPC John Cave.
All attendees can request a comprehensive audit of their own and key competitors’ websites from organic and paid search perspectives, something that will prove invaluable when it comes to identifying areas for improvement.
The event is open to everyone, whether CIM members or not. Anyone wishing to attend this event can book online at www.cim.co.uk/61900 or by calling +44 (0)1628 427340.
