Flybe embraces vibrant purple future

Flybe goes purple - new crew uniform.Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today unveiled a major new brand campaign that sees the airline reposition itself with an innovative, re-invigorated and fun product offering. ‘Flybe Purple’ brings to life the airline’s core business of time-saving travel – ‘The Fastest Way from A to Flybe’; that flying with Flybe is faster than travelling the same route by road, rail and sea connecting local communities and regional economies in less than 90 minutes.

The company refresh is being rolled out in three phases, supported with a multi-channel marketing campaign across advertising, PR and social. New TV advertising is designed to engender an emotional connection and portray the key message ‘to think minutes not miles’ when travelling with Flybe.

All changes bring to life Flybe’s commitment to giving its passengers the quickest and most efficient travel experience possible, importantly backed by its flagship 60:60 Guarantee product that, in a world first, gives passengers a £60 credit towards their next flight booked within 60 days if, through the fault of the airline, their flight arrives more than 60 minutes’ late.

This first of three phases of Flybe’s bold refresh also includes a new-look website and rebranded ticket options stating exactly what they offer: ‘Just Fly’ replaces ‘Essentials’; ‘Get More’ is the previous ‘New Economy’ and ‘All In’ is the former ‘Plus’ ticket choice.

An eye-catching purple aircraft, the Spirit of Liberum, will be the first Flybe Bombardier Q400 to take to the skies in special commemorative livery: and Improved on-board experiences feature the introduction of stylish purple crew uniforms and purple mood lighting as well as daily on-board winners, deplaning gifts and an on-time musical celebration.
