Fairhill Shopping Centre Bounces into Spring

In true Spring tradition Ballymena’s Fairhill Shopping Centre has welcomed two new arrivals in the form of retailers, Amen Shoes and Toytown to their bustling mall.

In addition to their two new stores the Arcadia Group which includes Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Burtons and Wallis have renewed their lease at the centre for a further three years.

The Centre, which is home to almost 50 retail units and eateries has been going from strength to strength with the most recent footfall figures for the year to date showing an increase of almost 3% on the same period last year.

Amen Shoes, a favourite with Boyzone’s Shane Lynch, will showcase their range of top leather shoes brands when they open the doors of their second store later this month.

And with a number of stores across the UK, one of the largest independent toy retailers, Toytown has chosen Fairhill Shopping Centre as their new location in Ballymena, relocating from Church Street.

Sharon Barbour, Marketing Assistant for ToyTown commented “Toytown is delighted to be part of the Fairhill Shopping Centre. We are only too happy with the reception we have received, and with the excellent footfall figures the centre is seeing we are positive that Toytown will thrive in its new premises.”

Natalie Jackson, the Fairhill Centre Manager commented “We had a very strong end to 2018 and to see 2019 off to a flying start is fantastic. I am very proud of what the Centre has achieved this year to date and the fact that a number of our anchor tenants are continuing to work with us, with the addition of new stores, is a testament to the entire team at Fairhill.”

In addition to the centre’s range of anchor tenants including M&S, New Look, H&M, River Island and Debenhams, these latest new tenants signify that the success seen at Fairhill is set to continue.

Natalie concluded, “As we approach the 30th anniversary of Fairhill, things are looking very positive for the Centre.”
