AMI, Ireland’s leading secure IT recycling company, today announces that it has appointed Faye Thomas as chief commercial officer (CCO). She brings over 20 years’ experience in sales strategy and business development to her new role.
AMI manages the safe disposal of computers, laptops, hard drives, and other IT equipment to minimise the risk of data breaches for public and private sector companies across Ireland and the UK.
In this newly created role, Faye is responsible for developing the strategic direction of all commercial functions of AMI, including sales, marketing, business development and customer experience. Faye will align these functions to meet AMI’s overall strategic commercial objectives – both long and short term. In addition to driving increased market penetration and sales growth, Faye is also responsible for the HR function and managing the development of a strong and successful company culture.
Faye Thomas has extensive experience in business development within the IT sector. Prior to this appointment, she held the position of business manager for three years, and previously key account manager for 18 months, at AMI. In these roles, Faye built strong relationships through the management of a number of key client accounts.
Previous to her time at AMI, Faye spent three years as senior account manager for cloud-based services provider Capita Managed IT Solutions following five years in the role of operations director within the food & beverage industry, where she worked across advertising, marketing and business development.
Faye Thomas holds a number of business-related qualifications including a Mini MBA from Queens University Belfast, a Prince2 Project Management certification and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Most recently, Faye was included in the Northern Ireland ’40 under 40’ list based on her ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities for AMI.
