NISP was also shortlisted for “Most Successful Innovation Environment” and “Most Successful Company on a Science Park” for PathXL at the high profile ceremony which took place at the UKSPA 30th Anniversary Summit Gala Dinner at the ICC, Birmingham.
The national innovation awards celebrate the achievements of the sector, over 100 member locations and their tenant companies.
Mervyn Watley, Director of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities for the Northern Ireland Science Park, said: “In this, our tenth year, we are delighted to have lifted the award for ‘Most Innovative Project’ and to have been recognised for our commitment to creating and continually developing an innovative environment and culture.
“Having a tech community, entrepreneurs, business facilitators and finance providers all under the one roof means we are an ideal ecosystem for not only helping local companies access global markets, but also encouraging foreign direct investment.
“NISP is more than just premises- it’s an environment which fosters innovation and helps develop the knowledge-based industries which are vital to Northern Ireland’s economic success.”
