The Institute of Directors Northern Ireland (IoD NI) has appointed former skills tsar Mark Huddleston as the first ever IoD NI Ambassador.
Kirsty McManus, National Director, IoD NI, commented: “It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Mark as our very first IoD NI Ambassador.
“With a wealth of experience in senior leadership roles over many years, Mark brings with him a huge bank of knowledge of the development and implementation of strong management practices.
“As an integral member of the IoD NI team, we look forward to working alongside Mark, as we engage with members and all other stakeholders promoting closer partnerships and highlighting key issues around skills, productivity, professional development, infrastructure and Brexit.”
Mark has more than 15 years’ executive and management experience, mainly within the aerospace, defence, automotive and space sectors.
He was previously the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Employment and Skills, assisting with the development of the Northern Ireland skills agenda and representing the region on the UK Commission for Employment and Skills.
