January Is Set to See a Wealth of New Slots Kickstart Your New Year

This year may be about to fade from view, but a new year is about to dawn. In the New Year, a flurry of new slots is set to launch at your favourite casino sites. The list of new slot machine games in the pipeline is impressive, and before the clock strikes midnight, it is worth having a look at what you could very well be playing come January.

Jump for Joy in January

Lovers of fairground-themed slots may wish to check out NextGen Gaming’s Buster Hammer Carnival. It is set to debut in January as a 5-reel, 3,125 ways to win game. At times, this sequel slot may even offer as many as 32,768 lines, so lovers of big titles with free spins, wilds, scatters and an instant win prizes aplenty may find something to their liking here.

Also debuting next month are Playtech’s Big Bear, and Coin Coin Coin slots. The latter is already available to play as an exclusive release at a handful of sites, but Big Bear will be wholly new. This 5-reel, 243 ways to win slot is nature-themed, will cost just 10p a spin and carries with it a non-progressive prize worth 180,000 coins.

Wizard of Oz fans may also appreciate Microgaming’s January release – Book of Oz. This simple 10-line slot looks at the man behind the curtain and can dish out cash prizes worth 125,000 coins. Also playable for 10p a spin, it offers free spins and re-spins, as well as randomly triggered goodies.

NetEnt Goes Into Overdrive

Naturally, NetEnt is also getting in on the act, with a series of new slots set to debut in January. Strolling Staxx, Turn Your Fortune, Mercy of the Gods are all set to debut next month, as 10, 40 and 20-line games, respectively. All are arguably more straightforward slots, with just a handful of features present in each, and modest non-progressive jackpot prizes up for grabs. They will, however, be cheap to play.

January will also see the launch of iSoftBet’s Jumbo Stampede, as well as Quickspin’s Divine Dreams. Expect a surplus of “unannounced” new games to debut towards the end of the month, too. As January becomes February, a whole array of other new slots will come to the forefront, starting with Pragmatic’s Play’s early February release, Safari King.
