Catherine Mason, Translink awarded ‘Outstanding Contribution’ to the Industry

Photo by Aaron McCracken/HarrisonsCatherine Mason, Translink Group Chief Executive was recently awarded the 2013 Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport/RSA Award for ‘Outstanding Contribution’ to the industry.  This prestigious accolade recognises Translink’s significant success in recent years following a programme of development, change and continuous improvement delivering passenger growth, improved efficiency and high levels of customer care.

Nick McCullough, Chairman CILT (NI) said, “This award is presented to those who have made a huge positive impact on the transport industry in Northern Ireland.  Translink has continued to develop its network, providing attractive passenger facilities and services including enhanced customer information and ticketing.  They have also spearheaded an extensive corporate responsibility programme and achieved EFQM 4 star Quality Award.”

“As a professional institute we want to acknowledge this success and its contribution towards a better, more sustainable and vibrant Northern Ireland,” Mr McCullough concluded.
