Leading ICT company eircom UK recently hosted a coffee morning at their Cromac Square headquarters in Belfast in support of their ‘charity of the year’ Friends of the Cancer Centre.

Attending were Chief Executive of Friends of the Cancer Centre Colleen Shaw (left) and Business Development Manager at eircom UK Valerie Meek.

Valerie recently experienced the Cancer Centre’s services when receiving radiotherapy at Belfast City Hospital in August 2012. Money raised by eircom UK throughout 2014 will be used to help fund some of Friends of the Cancer Centre’s most important projects, including complementary therapy and relaxation classes which are used by over 3,000 people affected by cancer every year.

Over the next three years Friends of the Cancer Centre will commit over £2 million to local cancer research alone. For further information about the charity and its services log on to www.friendsofthecancercentre.com
