Meet your Keynote Speaker, Gareth Loye M&M Contractors
37-year-old Gareth Loye is CEO of M&M Contractors – a firm providing turnkey electrical and telecommunication infrastructures.
After completing a degree in Construction, Engineering and Management, Gareth joined the family business in 2003. After nearly a decade climbing the ranks, 2012 saw Gareth promoted to CEO. Under his leadership, M&M Contractors has successfully evolved from a regional specialist contractor to an international principal contractor, with operations spanning the UK, RoI, USA, Canada and mainland Europe.
Gareth’s latest venture saw him acquire failing firm Mascott Construction in 2016 and incorporate it into the M&M group, in turn enabling M&M to boast the most comprehensive service portfolio in the industry for a firm under £100m. Since 2016, Gareth has grown Mascott’s turnover from zero to £16m, all of which has contributed to the M&M group turnover reaching a record £32m.
Gareth is a previous Northern Ireland 40under40 Lister and the 2018 Northern Ireland Institute of Directors Director of the Year winner.
This year we will be supporting the work of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice at the Networking Lunch
About Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice
Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice is the only service of its type in Northern Ireland caring for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice provides end of life care and support for families faced with planning for their child’s end of life, both at our Children’s Hospice known as ‘Horizon House’ and in the family home. The charity also offers specialist symptom management and supported short breaks underpinned by excellent clinical care, allowing families to focus on spending quality time with their child.
Why the Hospice needs your support
Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice cares for over 300 life-limited children and their families every year. However, there are over 1,300 life-limited children and young people in Northern Ireland who, along with their families, require the specialist care and support that only the Children’s Hospice can provide.
As a charity, the Children’s Hospice relies on the support and generosity of the public to help fund its vital service. By making a donation today, however large or small, will help the Hospice continue to care for more life-limited children and their families across the country when they need it most. https://www.nihospice.org/donate
